What We Believe

About Us

A DECLARATION OF OUR FAITH

1. We believe and teach that men must Repent and be Born Again to be saved.

John 3:1-5; II Cor. 5:17; Luke 13:1-5; Acts 2:38, 3:19, 17:30; II Peter 3:9.

2. We believe and teach that sanctification is a second definite work of grace to a
Believer in Christ. Further, a Christian cannot live a holy lifestyle without being
sanctified.

John 17:17; I Thess. 5:23-24; II Tim. 2:21; Acts 20:32; Heb. 13:12-13; I Pet. 1:2, Jude 1.

3. We believe and teach that the third definite work of grace is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. However, speaking in tongues is not evidence of salvation, or essential for salvation.

Acts 2:1-4; 10:45-46; 19:6; I Cor. 14:1-5; 14:18-19.
4. We believe in the Trinity of the Godhead – The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost.

I Tim. 2:5; Heb. 1:1-9; 5:5; Luke 1:35; Col. 2:2-4; John 16:25-30; 20:17; 8:42; 14:28; 15:26.

CHRISTIANS ARE CALLED SONS OF GOD IN YOUR HOLY BIBLE – NOT SONS OF JESUS. ANY OTHER DOCTRINE IS HERESY. I Cor. 11:19.

5. We believe and teach Water Baptism by Immersion according to Matthew 28:19-20, subsequent to Repentance and the New Birth, and in the Name (Authority) of Jesus Christ. This is the doctrine of Christ – not a heresy. We are Jesus people, but not Jesus only people.

Mark 16:15-16; Matt. 3:13-15; Acts 10:47-48; 8:36-38.

6. We believe and teach that only the Blood of Jesus cleanses and washes an individual from his sins – not Water Baptism. Any other doctrine is a heresy and is not scriptural nor of God.

Rev. 1:5; 5:9; Matt. 26:28; Rom. 6:8-9; 3:24-26; I Cor. 1:17; Heb. 9:22.
Water Baptism is an act of obedience subsequent to Repentance and receiving Jesus as Lord and Master – but salvation is not in the act at all. Baptism is the clearing of the conscience toward God. Cf. I Pet. 3:18-22; Rom. 10:9-10.

7. We believe and teach that Divine Healing is provided for in the atonement of Christ on Calvary thru Faith unto Obedience.

I Pet. 2:24; James 5:13-16; I Cor. 12:9; Mark 16:17-20; Isa. 53:5; Matt. 8:16-17; Heb. 13:8; Ex. 15:26; 23:25-26.

8. We believe and teach that Jesus will return to catch away His Bride; a Holy Remnant out of His Church, after the Restoration of His Church to its first love, its former True Holiness, Unity, Faith, and Fear of God, like His Early Church as recorded in the Book of Acts. Further, that this “catching away” or “Rapture” will not occur until after the first 3 1/2 years of the Great Tribulation.

Eph. 5:25-32; John 3:29; I Thess. 4:13-18; Acts 3:19-21; I John 2:28; Rev. 7:9-14; 13:7; Matt. 24:44; Mark 13:32-37; Dan. 7:23-25.

9. We believe and teach Eternal Life and Heaven for the Righteous, and Eternal Damnation in Hell for the Wicked.

Psa. 9:17; Isa. 14:9-15; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 16:19-26; Rev. 19:20; 20:14-15; Matt. 25:41, 46; II Cor. 5:6-8.

10. We believe and teach that Jesus will return to this earth with all His saints, literally, after the Great Tribulation of 7 years, and at the immediate end of the Battle of Armageddon – and at that time will establish his literal kingdom all over this earth for 1,000 years and will rule all nations with a rod of iron.

Matt. 25:31-33; Rev. 19:11-21; 20:1-10; 2:26-29; I Cor. 15:23-28; Zech. 14:1-5.

11. We believe and teach that Christians should all pay tithes and give offerings unto the Lord to support the work of the gospel. This is not Old Testament doctrine only, but also New Testament doctrine. Further, that the tithe is 10% of a Christian’s net income, and his offering is also at least 10%, to be obedient to the Lord, and to receive His blessing and not a curse. Cf. Mal. 3:7-11. Men rob God in Tithes and Offerings, and subsequently, they are visited with a curse – not a blessing. Cf. Luke 11:41-42. Jesus said to give alms (offerings), and then all things are clean (legal and right) unto you – and, to also pay tithes or 10% of your net income.

Heb. 7:1-8, esp. verse 8: Gen. 14:18-20; Lev. 27:30-32; Luke 6:38; I Cor. 16:2; Acts 4:32-37.

12. We believe and teach Bible Holiness. That godly women dress modestly with shamefacedness and sobriety – not with painted eyes and faces, without ornaments and decorations on their bodies as earrings, necklaces, and jewelry. Further, that God demands holy women should not dress sexily or indecently, nor wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment. Further, that Bible Holiness demands that men and boys have short hair, and women and girls have long hair. There is no definite length; however, a man should look masculine, and a woman should look feminine.

Eph. 4:24; Heb. 12:14; I Thess. 4:1-8; Luke 1:74-75; I Pet. 1:14-16; I Tim. 2:8-10, I Pet. 3:1-7; Ezek. 23:40-49; 44:20-23; I Cor. 11:2-15; Deut. 22:5; Jer. 4:30; Ezek. 23:40-44; Romans 12:1-2.

13. We believe and teach Communion (Lord’s Supper), and Feet Washing. This ordinance is not necessary to salvation but should be practiced and obeyed occasionally. Cf. I Cor. 11:19-34. It is not a ritual!

Luke 22:15-20; John 13:4-17; I Cor. 10:15-21; Acts 20:7 “The breaking of bread” is not a reference to the Lord’s Supper, but to eating a meal. Cf. Acts 2:46-47.

14. We believe and teach that marriage is a sacred institution, ordained of God – and that divorce and re-marriage must conform to God’s Bible standards and commandments.

Matt. 19:3-9; I Cor. 7:1-15; esp. verse 15; Heb. 13:4; Ezra 10:6-19, 44; Neh. 13:23-27; II Cor. 6:14-18.

15. We believe and teach against the use of tobacco in any form, against the drinking of alcohol in any form, or the use of drugs – because all these defile the individual Christian’s body, which is the temple of God.

II Cor. 7:1; 1 Cor.3:16-17; 6:18-20; I John 2:15-16; Rom. 8:12-13; James 1:21; I Pet. 4:1-4; Eph. 2:1-3.

16. We believe and teach that only holy men of God are called, sent, and anointed by God to teach and preach in the office of an Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Evangelist, and Teacher. Further, that each and every one of these gifted men will of necessity qualify to fill the office of a minister by the Bible standards of I Timothy 3, and Titus 1. Cf. “Blameless, husband of one wife, ruling their wives and children well, not greedy of money, vigilant, sober, teaching the faithful Word of God.”

Further, that God does not call, send, or ordain women to preach. I Tim. 2:11-15; Isa. 3:12; (only the spiritually mature women can teach the younger Christian women as outlined in Titus 2:3-5): The spiritual gift of prophecy can be received by a Spirit-filled woman, and they can be called as God’s Prophetesses – but never the gifted ministry of a true prophet of God, an Apostle, nor a Pastor, nor an Evangelist or Teacher.

Cf. Acts 21:8-9; I Cor. 14:34-40.

17. We believe and teach that the King James or Authorized version of the Holy Scriptures (of 1611) is the only true Bible and contains God’s only true message and revelation to men about God Himself, His future doings, and His plan of man’s redemption from sin unto salvation through Jesus Christ. Further, that all other extant paraphrases and versions are spurious, perverted, and fraudulent – and are nothing more or less than counterfeits of the True Bible.

ALL SCRIPTURE REFERENCES ARE FROM THE KING JAMES VERSION.
