The BAUM 20 Continuous Feed Folder features sturdy, solid-steel frame construction and an exclusive drive system with both forward and reverse direction for easier loading and unloading. Front and side air blow are standard to provide complete separation and floatation on all stocks. The low profile top board design makes loading easier, with less operator fatigue and a high loading capacity. Make-ready time is reduced using the exclusive dual front blow bar and the unique leading-edge sheet sensing device.

BAUM 20 INF Inline Folder
This inline folder is designed specifically for special applications with forms cutters and bursting. The folder is a variation of the Baum 20 pile-feed folder with the feeder and electrical control box removed. This unit is made without any type of sheet feeder. The burster or cutter feeds the sheets onto the register table. This folder is common for mailing applications and is adaptable to fan-folded forms, roll-feeding lines with cutters, etc.

BAUM 20-3 16 Page 3rd Station Folder
The BAUM 20 16 Page 3rd Station Folder offers more folding capability for more than just right angle folding applications. The robust designed unit can be added to the BAUM 20 1st and 2nd station fold units. The BAUM 20 third station can also be placed in tandem, in a straight line, to perform more complex roll and accordion folds when more parallel folds are needed.
This quality built folder can also be operated independently using the exclusive selection of BAUM power adapter boxes for inline applications with inkjet tables, forms cutters, creasing machines and more!

Floor Model Folder Accessories
Gatefold Attachment
The BAUM Gatefold Attachment increases versatility and profitability. Can be mounted in the parallel or 8-page folders. The gatefold unit is designed with a precision solid-state timing control for ease of operation and quick job changeovers.
Jam Detector
To detect paper jams as they occur at the end of a folding station, automatically stopping the folder. A diagnostic message will appear on the BAUM 2020 operator panel when a jam is detected.
Remote Control
Enables the operator to control sheet feeding and folder drive from the delivery. It also provides a portable control to assist setup for perfing, scoring and slitting, and for sending test sheets when setting fold plates.
Static Reducer
Consists of two static bars and a power unit (115V / 60 Hz). Neutralizes the electric charges by creating an ionization field around the two bars.
Microperf
Microperf is a special, very fine perforation that tears clean when pulled apart. This perforation is used for stocks that need perforations and must be fed again through copiers and printers.
Segmented Folding Rollers
A core shaft and precision segments to provide the ability to move the segments to create open areas for glue to travel to keep the glue from wiping off onto the rollers. Also used for creating open areas for application where tip on cards and other items may not need to contact the folding rollers. The #1 roller is different from the other roller dues to the fact that the main encoder must be mounted on the end.
Exit Total Count Sensor
Mounts at the exit area of the last folder in the setup. Provides a second count to compare to the first count of the sensor reading at the pile feeder count. Also provides an added bonus of serving as a jam detector if the sheet stays under the sensor to long.
Independent Powerbox Full Features
This power box provides the capability to operate 8-page and 16-page right angle folders independently from the parallel 1st station. The box includes the capability to connect both the 8 and 16 page and operate at the same time, 2-tiered rollaway delivery, hand on delivery, remote control, VDS delivery, and BAUM presser stacker deliveries. It includes an on button, E-stop and overload indicator light. The box is mounted in the field.
Independent Powerbox Limited Features
This control box can power an 8-page or 16-page independently without the need for the 1st station parallel folder. You can also power an 8-page and 16-page together. The box includes plugs for a hang-on stacker and a gatefold control. It also has a power an E-Stop button. It mounts to the crosscarrier of the 8 or 16 page folder using existing holes in the crosscarrier rails that match the holes in the box.
Center Trim Kits
BAUM offers a wide selection of center trim kits. BAUM has center trim kits for 7/8 inch, 1-1/8 inch and 35 mm diameter slitter shafts. The model of folder determines which diameter slitter shaft is used. The width of the strip to be removed needs to be determined before ordering the kit.
Edge Trim Kits
BAUM offers edge trim kits for 7/8 inch, 1-1/8 inch and 35 mm diameter slitter shafts. The model of folder determines which diameter slitter shaft is used. The kits include the edge stripper that deflect the waster to the floor when trimming.
Perforating Kits
BAUM offers a wide selection of perforating kits for 7/8 inch, 1-1/8 inch and 35 mm diameter slitter shafts. The model of folder determines which diameter slitter shaft is used. The perf kit selection includes very coarse to very fine perforations per inch capability.
Scoring Kits
BAUM offers a wide selection of scoring kits for 7/8 inch, 1-1/8 inch and 35 mm diameter slitter shafts. The model of folder determines which diameter slitter shaft is used. BAUM has developed many different scoring methods to choose from.

BAUM 714XLT Microgluer Folder Gluer
These complete folder gluer machines use the durable BAUM 714XLT Ultrafold air/vacuum feed folder combined with the easy to use and maintain GMS Microglue control and glue head system. These systems are affordable and use much less floor space than other self-mailer solutions.
There are four models available, the 714XLT-2C, 4C, 4Z and the 714XLT-8Z (shown above)
714XLT-2C has a two-head cold glue system mounted on the feed table and can produce parallel glue lines on the far right and left hand ends of the sheet. This is good for letter and half-fold self-mailers. There is no capability to add glue dots in the middle.
714XLT-4C has a four-head cold glue system mounted on the feed table and can produce parallel glue lines on the far right and left hand ends of the sheet and add two dots in the panel area between the lines to make a more secure self-mailer. This is good for letter and half fold self-mailers that require personal information being secured.
714XLT-4Z has a two-head cold glue system mounted on the feed table and 2 cold glue heads mounted to the #1 fold plate. This model can produce parallel glue lines on the far right and left hand ends of the sheet. The glue can be applied to both sides of the sheet. This machine can produce all of the folds of the 714XLT-2C and can also create self mailers in a “Z” and double parallel fold imposition. This folder does not provide dots in the middle for secured data.
714XLT-8Z has a four-head cold glue system mounted on the feed table and 4 cold glue heads mounted to the #1 fold plate. This model can produce parallel glue lines on the far right and left hand ends of the sheet and add two dots in the panel area between the lines to make a more secure self-mailer. The glue can be applied to both sides of the sheet. This machine can produce all of the folds of the 2C, 4C and 4Z while also completing the ability to provide dots in the middle for secured data.

For significant reduction of noise levels, use the BAUM 714 Sound Cover. All sound covers are designed for easy access to folder attachments.
BAUM 714 Adjustable Slitter Shafts
These adjustable slitter shafts enable micro-perforating of sheets by adjusting the fine tooth blade depth into the paper stocks. The new, optional cartridge slitter shaft design can be installed in place of the existing fixed center distance slitter shafts. 714 adjustable slitter shaft assemblies can be added to select BAUM 714XLT and 714XA folders; they cannot be added to 714 right angle folders.
BAUM 714XLT Ultrascore
For heavier weight stocks that can curl due to the back-bending in the folding rollers, the Ultrascore attachment for the 714XLT folder is available. This enables the sheet to be run straight through using just the main drive roller and the roller directly above; to drive the sheet in the Ultrascore assembly. the same tooling used on the new 714 adjustable slitter shafts is also used on the Ultrascore attachment.
BAUM 714 Dust Cover
Put the 714 Dust Cover over the entire folder to protect unit from paper dust and other airborne matter when not in use.
BAUM Mirco Perf Kit
A micro-perf is a special, very fine perforation that tears clean when pulled apart. This kit can only be used on the BAUM 714XLT Perf/Score attachment and the 714 Adjustable Slitter shaft options where the slitter shafts have adjustable center distances. This option can not be used on the standard fixed center slitter shafts.
BAUM Adjustable Cart
This adjustable cart is used in place of the standard fixed height mobile cart for the 714XLT Ultrafold 2nd Station right angle folders. The adjustable height cart enables multiple heights to be achieved to operate the 714XLT Ultrafold 2nd station folder in line or at a right angle with various other products including scoring, creasing, folding machines and in line with printing machines.

Atlas-AS Air-Feed Document Folder
The ATLAS-AS Air-Feed Document Folder combines high-volume output with user-friendly features in a rugged, small footprint. With variable speed control, it can process up to 27,500 sheets per hour. Its 7” full-color touchscreen control panel allows operators to set up jobs easily and to program an unlimited number of jobs into memory. Fully-enclosed fold plates feature dials to select fold plate position and LED displays accurate to 0.1mm. The fold rollers are made of a durable composite material designed to easily grip high-gloss paper, and are housed in a single patented pull-out cassette.
The powerful air suction feed table handles a wide variety of coated or non-coated stock, up to 26.5” in length, and aligns the sheets prior to folding. It also features a suction chamber to control curled or statically charged paper.
Standard features include a modular perforator/scorer which can also be used as a roller bypass, allowing cover stock to be folded and output flat. The belt-driven outfeed stacker is located on the same side as the infeed, allowing operators to easily operate the Atlas from a single position. Double document and jam detection, batch counting, anti-static brushes, skew and micro adjustments complete the user-friendly package.

FD 3302 Air Suction Folder
The FD 3302 Air-Suction Document Folder offers high performance folding in a compact tabletop unit, ideal for digitally printed documents on heavy and coated stock. The air-suction feed technology reduces static electricity and minimizes feed marks common in traditional friction feed systems. The FD 3302 utilizes internal fans to produce air and suction for quiet operation in a smaller footprint. The feeding system also includes a side air system for enhanced feeding of heavier stocks and larger sheets of paper.
With a speed of up to 18,600 sheets per hour, and a feed tray capacity of up to 625 sheets, the FD 3302 quickly powers through a range of applications, all at the touch of a button, while optical and ultrasonic double feed detection ensures document integrity.
It’s designed to handle a variety of paper weights and sizes, up to 25.5” long, combining an extended infeed tray with variable fan speed and air flow that can be adjusted independently using the interactive control panel and external adjustment knobs.
